Policies

Missed Lessons
Students must pay for all lessons for which they are registered, including those missed due to student absence. Teachers will provide up to two make-up lessons due to student absence if the student notifies the teacher before noon on the day of the lesson. Lessons missed due to teacher absence will be rescheduled or credited in the next semester. Make-up lessons are scheduled between student and teacher, not through the school office.  

Snow Days 
For students' safety, Monteverdi will close on each snow day declared by Montpelier public schools. Please talk with your teacher about snow-day-related make-up lessons.  

Withdrawals and Refunds 
Refunds may be requested within the first three weeks of the semester. Intent to withdraw must be submitted to the school office in writing prior to the fourth lesson. Non-attendance and/or verbal communication of intent to withdraw will not be considered sufficient for a refund.
